Save development time
Start with reusable mechanisms for prompting, listening, sequencing, supported interruptions, and recovery—then put your engineering effort into the workflow that makes your application valuable.
SpeechTiles Andamento is an SDK that helps developers build and run structured voice conversations inside their own applications—without having to engineer the entire conversational interaction layer from scratch.
Your company builds an inspection app, a healthcare app, or a creative application. Andamento supplies a reusable way for that app to ask, listen, clarify, confirm, recover, and continue—according to the workflow its developers define.
A language model can understand intent, reason about a request, and generate an answer. It can be part of the experience, but it is not required.
A configurable runtime manages the flow of the voice interaction, including prompts, listening, interruptions, and transitions back to the application.
The customer's software owns its data, domain rules, user interface, and actual operations—from saving a check-in to copying a grade.
The distinction: speech recognition hears words; AI may interpret them; Andamento helps coordinate the ongoing conversational experience; your application performs its own work.
Voice adds value when it makes a real task easier. Andamento gives your engineering team reusable conversational capabilities so it can put more effort into the product itself.
Start with reusable mechanisms for prompting, listening, sequencing, supported interruptions, and recovery—then put your engineering effort into the workflow that makes your application valuable.
Your developers define the conversation, confirmations, and application responses. Structured processes do not have to rely entirely on open-ended AI decisions.
People pause, interrupt, hesitate, or say something unexpected. Andamento gives applications ways to handle those situations as part of the conversation.
Keep your existing UI, systems, business rules, and data. Add conversation where it makes a task easier, with the application retaining final authority.
These are engineering and product benefits to evaluate, not guarantees of specific cost savings, retention rates, or regulatory compliance.
Andamento coordinates the conversation inside the application rather than sending every conversational step to a SpeechTiles cloud orchestration service.
Speech recognition can be configured to use on-device or cloud services. AI and other connected services are optional application decisions; licensing permissions may involve a separate network check.
Application data and actions remain the host app's responsibility.
A suitably integrated AI model can interpret this command, and the editing application can execute it. Andamento may add little value here.
Now the app needs to ask, listen, clarify exclusions, manage interruptions, confirm, and invoke the application action. That repeatable interaction is where Andamento becomes more relevant.
These are conceptual examples, not claims of existing integrations with DaVinci Resolve or any third-party product.
A transcript is only the input. A guided conversation needs prompt timing, turns, interruptions, recovery, application handoffs, and testing across all of them. Andamento gives developers a reusable foundation for those responsibilities.
You'll still design the workflow, connect application functions, and test the result—but you won't start from an empty conversational runtime.
