SDK Reference · Method
mediaLogLevel
Returns the configured log level for an underlying media component.
Declaration
public func mediaLogLevel(
for component: STMediaComponent
) -> STLogLevel?Overview
Returns the explicitly configured logging level for the specified media component, if a valid level is stored. This is a synchronous lookup; it does not start an asynchronous operation.
Inspecting component logging
A return value of nil means that no logging level is stored for this component, or that its stored raw value does not map to a valid STLogLevel. It does not mean .none, and it does not by itself indicate that logging is disabled; default logging behavior may still apply.
Parameters
- component — STMediaComponent.
Usage example
let component: STMediaComponent = .audioPlayer
if let level = conversation.mediaLogLevel(for: component) {
print("Configured media log level: \(level)")
} else {
print("No valid explicit log level is stored for this component; default logging may apply.")
}
