setLogLevel
Sets one log level across all public STMediaRunner media components.
Declaration
public func setLogLevel(_ level: STLogLevel)Overview
Use this as the convenient whole-framework logging control. Internally, the method applies the supplied level to every STMediaComponent.
Logging can be configured before initialize(). The selected levels are retained and subsequently applied to components as they are initialized.
let mediaRunner = STMediaRunner.shared
mediaRunner.setLogLevel(.debug)
_ = mediaRunner.initialize()
The default level for every media component is .default.
Apple Unified Logging
SpeechTiles Andamento uses Apple Unified Logging through the os logging APIs. Messages can appear in Xcode during development and, depending on severity and system configuration, in the operating system’s unified log store.
On macOS, open Console.app (Applications → Utilities), select your Mac, start live streaming, and filter by the application process or logging subsystem. You can also use the macOS log command-line utility. Apple determines which messages are retained and for how long; debug messages may not be persisted.
STLogLevel.none suppresses Andamento-generated logging at all levels. It does not suppress operating-system messages or logging independently generated by Apple frameworks.
For logging levels and additional details, see STLogLevel and Apple Unified Logging documentation.
