Runtime Field Entry
Each element of runtimeFields assigns a named runtime value. These values can be referenced elsewhere in supported configuration properties using $[FieldName].
Developer guidance
Each array element is a name/value assignment. The value is a typed runtime value, not necessarily text. Use the field name in $[FieldName] references on properties that explicitly support runtime resolution.
Example in context
Illustrative JSON excerpt (not a complete configuration document):
{
"configureParams": {
"runtimeFields": [
{
"name": "RetryCount",
"value": 2
},
{
"name": "ShouldConfirm",
"value": true
},
{
"name": "VolumeFactor",
"value": 0.75
}
]
}
}
Values are JSON numbers or booleans here; do not quote them unless a string is intended.
Properties
name
The runtime field name, referenced using $[FieldName] .
value
The field value. Supported types include String, Int, Bool, and floating-point Number, represented as JSON string, number, or boolean values as appropriate.
Example
The following illustrates four entries within configureParams, using a string, integer, boolean, and floating-point value.
{
"configureParams": {
"runtimeFields": [
{ "name": "CustomerName", "value": "Antoine" },
{ "name": "RetryCount", "value": 3 },
{ "name": "IsConfirmed", "value": true },
{ "name": "Confidence", "value": 0.95 }
]
}
}
